The accolades keep coming for Michigan’s ENERGY STAR® home builders. This year’s Excellence in Energy Efficiency (E3) awards ceremony, held at Michigan International Speedway, saw five builders recognized for their energy-saving achievements in 2017.

The event honors the top-performing contractors in Consumers Energy’s New Home Construction, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, Insulation and Windows (INWIN) and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) programs. In addition to the awards, this year’s guests were treated to pace car rides.

Having saved Michigan homes and businesses over $1 billion through rebates and energy-saving programs since 2009, Consumers Energy continues to set the pace in energy efficiency.
